As winter melts and our thoughts turn to springtime weekend getaways, coastal summering, and Pride packages, the perpetual hunt for gay-friendly accommodations begins anew.
The news that Kimpton Hotels -- which was already a consistent bet for quality service and LGBT-popular destinations -- has become even more gay-friendly, therefore, is welcome news indeed.
As of this year, the hotel chain is not only the first lodgings company to get a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index* four years running, but also the first to establish all of its properties -- 41 nationwide -- as members of the International Gay and Lesbian Trade Association (IGLTA).
